In the name of the Benevolent Father of All, I Asa Inman of Laporte County State of Indiana do make and publish this my last will and testament.

Item 1 - I give and devise unto my beloved wife Ellen Inman all my stock, household goods, furniture, provisions and all other goods and chattels which I may have at the time of my decease to be hers to keep or dispose of according to her wishes.

Item 2 - I devise and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Taylor the sum of One Dollar and I also devise and give to my daughter Sarah Taylor the sum of One Dollar. I devise and bequeath to the heirs of my daughter Polly York the sum of One Dollar. I devise and bequeath to my son John Inman the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25).

Item 3 - It is my will that my wife shall sell a sufficient amount of my personal property bequeathed to her to pay all my just debts and to pay the several sums of money as bequeathed to my above named children.

Item 4 - I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Guardian of all my minor children until the same become of age. I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 4th day of August A.D.1870.
