Will of John Inman

I, John Inman of the County of Snohomish and State of Washington being aware of the uncertainty of life and in failing health but of sound mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner following to wit:

First. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ida Ranney twenty acres of land lying and situated in described as follows, the south half (1/2) of the East one fourth (1/4) of the North half the North West quarter of section thirty (30) in township eighteen (18) Range twenty three 23 East in Osage township County of Miami and state of Kansas.

Second. I give and bequeath to my son Eugene Inman twenty acres of land described as follows to wit the North half (1/2) of the east one fourth (1/4) of the North half of the North West quarter of Section thirty (30) in township eighteen (18) Range twenty three (23) East in Osage township County of Miami and State of Kansas.

Third. I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah A. Cook fifteen acres of land described as follows in strip eighty Roods long and thirty Roods wide commencing at the South west corner of the North half of the North west quarter of section thirty (30) Township Eighteen (18) Range twenty (23) East. thence eighty Roods east thence thirty Roods north thence Eighty roods west to county road in Osage township and County of Miami and state of Kansas and I also give to my Daughter Sarah Cook one lot in town of Nappavine County of Lewis and state of Washington Described as follows, lot number ten (10) in Block fourteen (14) in Mary Rowell addition. Also the proceeds of my farm for the 1890 if I should die before the year expires.

Fourth. I give and bequeath to my son William Inman ten acres of land described as follows in section eighteen (18) township (18) Range twentythree (23) joining a peace of land that belongs to my son William Inman also five acres strip joining and laying along the North side of the strip I have described above in my Will to Sarah Cook my daughter at of which is lying and situated in the County of Miami and state of Kansas.

Fifth. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Helen Fortendall fifteen acres of land described as follows commencing at a point forty Roods South of the North west corner of section thirty (30) town eighteen (18) Range twenty three (23) thence east eighty Roods thence North thirty roods thence West eighty roods to county road in County of Miami and State of Kansas.

Sixth. I give and bequeath to my oldest son John B. Inman one acre of land situated directly east and joining the school grounds which is in the north west corner of my farm situated in the County of Miami and State of Kansas, Osage township in Section thirty (30) town eighteen Range (23)

Seventh. I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Miriah Oakley one acre joining the strip on the east that I have just above described and willed to my son J. B. Inman.

Eighth. I give and bequeath three acres moor or less to Kity Pearson a daughter of my son David Inman which three acres joins the peace on the east I have just described and willed to Nancy Miriah Oakley being all of my land? in Section thirty (30) town eighteen (18) Range twenty three (23) in the County of Miami and State of Kansas.

Ninth. I give and bequeath to my son Israel Inman three lots with the apartiences thereto described as follows lots number three and four in block fourteen in Mary Rowell addition to the town of Nappivine County of Lewis and State of Washington.

Tenth. I give and bequeath to my Son Zecriah (Zachariah) Inman three lots described as follows lots number one (1) and two (2) and lot eleven (11) in Mary Rowell addition to the town of Nappivine County of Lewis and State of Washington.

Eleventh. I give and bequeath to my son James Inman three lots Numbered and described as follows lots Number six (6) and nine (9) and twelve (12) in block fourteen (14) in Mary Rowell addition to the town of Nappavine County of Lewis and State of Washington.

Twelveth and lastly. I appoint Caleb Cook as executor of this my last will and testament and in consideration of the trouble this imposed upon him I do hereby give and bequeath to Caleb Cook one lot described as follows lot number five (5) in block (14) in Mary Rowell Addition to the town of Nappavine and County of Lewis and State of Washington and at my death Caleb Cook shall take charge and see to cows and two yearling heffers now in care of my son Zacriah Inman for which money he shall use in erecting a monument on the Grave of my deceased Wife Hannah Inman which will also be my future place of rest which it is my will to be taken to Lewis County and buried by my deceased wife Hannah Inman in witness thereof I John Inman to this my last will and testament have hereunto set my hand and seale this fourteenth (14) day of June eighteen hundred and ninety signed and sealed and declaired by John Inman as and for his last will and testament and as at his request and in the presance of each other have described our names hereunto as witnesees thereof.
