This collection represents information originating on courthouse marriage licenses in various counties. In some cases the date listed is the date of the license rather than the actual date of the marriage.
The information on this CD is extracted from original county records, not from a microfilm set. To obtain additional information regarding a marriage, please contact the appropriate county clerk. In some cases counties may have had their records microfilmed and the records may be available at your local genealogical library.
