2. Dexter Wheaton Barney (1803-59) m. 1830 Eliza Grant (1805-76).
3. Caleb Barney (1774-1857) m. 1795 Elizabeth Wood (1776-1839); Daniel Grant (1774-1868) m. 1800 Rachel Smith (1774-1861).
4. Christopher Barney m. 1772 Experience Smith (1743-93); David Wood m. 1767 Elizabeth Inman; Joseph Grant, Jr., m. 1765 Hannah Drowne (b. 1745).
Christopher Barney (1739-1823) served as sergeant and lieutenant, under Capt. Peleg Peck, Col.
Carpenter's regiment. He was born and died in Rehoboth, Mass.
Joseph Grant, Jr. (1742-1815) in 1780 was a private in Capt. Viall Allen's company, Rhode Island troops. He was born and died in Barrington, R. I.
David Wood served as a private, 1778, in Capt. Joseph Cole's company, Col. John Jacob's
Massachusetts regiment. He was born in Rehoboth, Mass.
