        Gr-granddaughter of Asa Bartlett and Patience Arnold (d. 1826), his wife.
    Asa Bartlett (1757-1839) enlisted, 1776, as fifer, served four years with Rhode Island troops under various commands. He applied for pension, 1834, which was allowed. He was born in Gloucester; died in Cumberland, R. I.
