        Gr-gr-granddaughter of Phineas Butler and Melia Robbins, his wife.
    Phineas Butler (1758-1852) enlisted, 1777, as a private in Capt. Samuel King's company, Col. Thomas Marshall's regiment, Massachusetts Line, for three years. In 1778 was promoted corporal. He was a pensioner, 1818. He was born in Framingham, Mass.; died in Thomaston, Me.
