    David Campbell, (1750-1812), served as county clerk of Washington county, Va., 1777. He was born in Augusta county, Va., and died at Washington, Tenn.
    David Deaderick, Jr., (1754-1823), served under Capt. Charles Mynn Thurston in the Jersey campaign. He was subsequently adjutant and paymaster. He was born at Winchester, Va., and died at Jonesboro, Tenn.
    Andrew Russell commanded a company of the Fifth Virginia regiment, 1776. He was born in Augusta county, Va., 1738, and died in Jefferson county, Tenn.
    William Christian served from Augusta county in the battle of Long Island Flats, 1776.
